Alex McDonnell won the final round of the senior competition. Second place for Stamullen rider Seamus Howard was enough to see him comfortably take the overall prize.
In the underage competition, Sean Lenehan’s win in Round 6 made him joint overall winner along with Ciaran Connor.

All our racers are urged to take note of two important upcoming events. The Charleville 2 Day event will take place on September 3rd and 4th. In order to ensure that we register our riders on time, have enough accommodation etc., all those interested in taking part need to notify Gerard Campbell as soon as possible. Our second annual club championship will take place on August 28th. Once again the venue will be Corkagh Park. This event is open to all Drogheda Wheelers members who hold at least a club competition license. No need to register for this one – just make sure to keep the date free in your calendar!
